Abstract
Shot by Shot re-creation of Joji’s Music Video for the song Slow Dancing in the Dark. The six-person team had to get creative with re-creation, filming between buildings in Skid Row and cutting a Chewbacca costume in half for goat legs.
We were assigned to recreate a scene or music video shot-by-shot, using our skills and as minimum resources as possible. We chose Joji's SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK because of its strong visual language that could challenge our skills while also keeping it achievable with the resources we had. Shot around LA over a week, we were able to achieve something that looked impressively similar.
