Abstract
en busca de la nada is a transmedia collection that merges film, sound, performance, and design into an immersive meditation on existence—an invitation to unlearn societal constructs of identity and purpose, freeing ourselves from neoliberal-imposed frameworks. Inspired by Zen teachings, the work proposes a blank slate from which new understandings can emerge, allowing nature, time, and our surroundings to reshape our perceptions. Rather than seeking concrete answers, the project embraces uncertainty, uncovering deeper truths through experience and discovery.
What do you find when you go in search of nothingness?

The concept
Configuration_C: construx translates the conceptual framework of en busca de la nada into sound, presenting it both as a standalone auditory experience (construx.ost) and within a live audiovisual performance (construx.live).
Sound is not merely accompaniment; it embodies the transmedia ethos of the project, synthesizing its complexities from the ground up. Drawing from Russian Constructivist principles, the composition shapes noise—the cinematic analogue of chaos—through musique concrète and cut-up techniques, mirroring the filmic and narrative processes. This approach allows the soundtrack to function as both a narrative amplifier and an autonomous work: it expands the world-building of the films, resonates emotionally, and can be experienced independently, retaining the conceptual and affective depth of the project.
Configuration_C demonstrates how sound can operate as its own medium, translating and extending the transmedia universe into a fully realized auditory form.
