Kinetic Media Records: Action Montage Study
An experiment in pacing, rhythm and post-production techniques for action sequences.
This experiment allowed me to curate, cut together stock footage from different formats and contexts, and bring them together in what would become an action sequence.
I love challenging myself and keep mastering the essentials, let the cutting do the job. However, I couldn't help myself and had to do some light image processing to give it a bit of a haze—which I think helps intensify the kinetic energy. The sound editing component was done in Ableton Live 12 which is unusual but I enjoy the interface, plug-ins, and native FX.
